Despite people's passion for diving, busy schedules often hinder regular dives. However, the longer one stays out of the water, the greater the risk of forgetting essential skills for safe diving. Therefore, it's advisable to undergo a Scuba Refresher before returning to the ocean depths.
If it’s been a while since your last dive, we recommend completing a Scuba Refresher course with us. Here's our recommendation based on your experience:
- 4-30 dives: if you haven’t dived in 6-12 months
- 30-100 dives: if you haven’t dived in 12-24 months
- 100+ dives: if you haven’t dived in over 24 months
The Scuba Refresher helps you review key skills such as buddy checks, mask clearing, regulator retrieval, and emergency procedures. You'll cover diving basics, equipment, and safety with a divemaster before doing at least one shallow dive in the afternoon to demonstrate your skills and enjoy the underwater environment. Although the course includes one Refresher dive, the boat will head out for two dives, so you can enjoy the second dive as a Fun Dive.
