During the PADI Deep Diver course, you'll learn how to plan deep dives, manage your gas supply and how to identify and manage narcosis. You'll learn about buddy contact procedures, safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth.
PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course
During the Deep Specialty you will learn how to plan repetitive deep dives. You will also review and determine your personal limits and your buddy’s limits.
We will also review specialized equipment that is used for deep diving. We will also go over the safety considerations, how to manage gas supply, buoyancy control and how to deal with gas narcosis.

We conduct the Deep Diver Specialty course over 2 days.
The course consists of two sections:
At Vietnam Active we take our customer promise very seriously. All courses are conducted with a maximum of 4 students per Instructor.
Our Instructors are highly trained and will ensure you receive lots of attention and most importantly, progress at your own pace in a relaxed environment.
Pick-up from your hotel will occur between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, depending on your location.
- We’ll reach the harbor by 9:00 AM and set out for our first dive spot, a 45-minute boat ride away.
- Throughout the day, complimentary fruit, tea, coffee, and drinking water will be available on the boat.
- We'll spend about 1 to 1.5 hours at the first dive site, giving you ample time to enjoy your diving experience.
- Following the dive, brunch will be served, featuring a buffet with a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including vegetarian options.
- After a short break, we'll head to the second dive site for another hour of diving, then make our way back to the harbor.
- Arrival back at the harbor is expected between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, after which transport will take you back to your hotel or the dive shop.
